The usual way to add oxygen to the seawater in the aquarium is to use a special oxygen pump. A plastic pipe is often used to press the air into the water, and then the airflow is turned into a large group of bubbles through the diffuser, which is evenly dispersed into the water. It dissolves in water while the bubbles are rising. So we can notice that the maximum amount of oxygen melts into the water:

· Increase air volume

· Increase the contact area between bubbles and water

· Increase the contact time of bubbles and water

There are three solutions:

· Properly increase the air pump to ensure sufficient oxygen. But it should be noted that the air pump cannot be too large.

· Try to make the bubble size smaller and become foggy. The smaller the size of the bubble can not only increase the contact area with the air, but the smaller the size of the bubble makes the rising speed correspondingly slower. As a result, the contact time between bubbles and water is increased.

· Try to put the diffuser on the bottom of the aquarium, so that the bubbles can stay in the water for a longer time.

Seawater aquariums often also use foam separators. It is also a high-efficiency aerator. It can even make the oxygen content in the seawater reach a supersaturated state, and there is no large amount of bubble clouds in the aquarium.
